It all depends on the content of your site. If you have quality and targeted content on your site, Adsense will serve quality ads on your site. By quality ads I mean ads that are eye-catching, interesting and that pay a lot per click. If you are getting 500-1000 views a day, your average click-through rate might be 5 clicks per day. So, let's do the math :D Let's assume you are getting 5 clicks each day. Which means, you get 150 clicks every month. Now let's assume, average CPC for ads served on your site is $0.20 So, you will earn $1 a day. That means $30 a month. Not Bad. People don't even earn $10 a month. Earning $30 a month is a good start rate :) If you want to increase your earnings, you will need more and quality traffic. The best quality traffic is the traffic you get from search engines. To get more search engine traffic, you will need more posts and more backlinks. Your posts will have to be high quality or no one with a high quality site would link to them. Once you have a good amount of High Quality posts, High Quality backlinks and Good amount of search engine traffic, you will earn a lot of money through adsense. The bottom line? Work hard until you achieve all of these three. Some Advice: Don't depend on just Adsense or ads. Create your own product and sell it to your audience. Because if a guy can pay you $1000s a month to display an ad on your site, he must be earning more than 10 times of what he is paying. Creating your own product will help you a lot in earning money through your blog. Now, answer to your second question, How To Get More Traffic? Here are some easy ways to drive more traffic to your blog: #1 - Guest Post on other sites This is an easy one. Look out for Guest Blogging opportunities in your niche. A Guest Post is simply a post that you publish on someone else's blog instead of yours. Here's an easy way to find Guest Blogging opportunities in your niche: Open Up Google and search using one of the below queries: "[YOUR TOPIC]" + "write for us" "[YOUR TOPIC]" + "contribute" A simple Google search will help you find thousands of Guest Blogging opportunities. Once you have found some sites that allow Guest Posts, reach out to them using the below email template: Hey [BLOGGER NAME], I am huge fan of [BLOG NAME]. And I would love to be your next guest author. If you don't follow the 3rd, 4th and 5th steps, you will face a really hard time to get traffic back to your blog from Facebook Groups. #3 - Share in Google+ Communities This one is the same as Method #2. Follow the same steps on Google+ #4 - Ask Influencers To Promote Your Content Influencers are the guys who have a good Social Media following and authority in your niche. One share from one of these guys can drive thousands of visitors to your site overnight. Do you want these guys to promote your content for FREE? If so, you will need GREAT content. Good and average content doesn't work with Influencer Marketing. If you want these guys to promote your content, you need something that is worth promoting for these influencers. Here's what a GREAT piece of content will look like: It is relevant to the influencer's niche. It is in-depth and covers the topic inside-out. Once you create a GREAT piece of content, reach out to the influencers in your niche and ask them if they could share your post over their social media channels.
